Campgaw Mountain Reservation

Campgaw Road
This 1374 acre wooded county park has hiking trails and campsites-some with Adirondack shelters. A camping Permit is required from the Bergen County Division of Parks go to  
http://co.bergen.nj.us/105/Parks for all information pertaining to obtaining a permit. 


Campgaw Mountain Ski Center and Snowboard Area
Campgaw Road
A 1650 foot main slope with natural and machine made snow is the center of this ski area. The ski center includes eight trails, five lifts, one with a mid-station, and a 600 foot school slope serviced by a T-bar lift and two handle tows. The Visitors Center has a lounge, snack bar, a shop for renting equipment, and the ski school office.

Darlington County Park
Darlington Avenue
Darlington County park, with its 178 acres, contains three lakes on its pleasant and convenient location. Two of these lakes permit swimming, while the third allows fishing. The park also includes white sand beaches, wooded picnic area, open lawns, snack bar, new children’s state of the art playground, tennis and handball courts and a bird and wild life observation. During the swimming season there is an entrance fee; however, Bergen County Residents receive a discount with a Bergen County Parks card.

Ramapo Valley Reservation
Ramapo Valley Road (Rte. 202)
Hikers enjoy exploring the wooded hillside, with its 15 miles of marked and informal trails. Ramapo Valley Reservation includes part of the Ramapo River, Scarlet Oak Pond and McMillan Reservoir. With a camping permit, tenting is permitted beside the Ramapo River and the lower lake, Scarlett Oak Pond. Catfish, panfish, perch, trout and bass fishing is permitted, a fishing license is required. There is a parking lot at the park entrance and portage access to the Ramapo River is provided. Maps of the trails and further information are available by contacting the Ranger at park headquarters.

Bergen County Darlington Golf Course

This 18 hole Bergen County golf course is open to the public from 7 AM til dusk weather permitting. The course is open from mid March until mid December. Bergen County residents may register for a Bergen County Card, which allows you reduced rates and access to tee time reservations. For Bergen County registration information call 201-336-7259 from 9 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
